what to expect from a wedding planner

Wild Vows: An All‑Inclusive Elopement & Micro‑Wedding Experience

There’s a growing movement among couples who want to step away from the noise, pressure, and performance of traditional weddings and step into something quieter, more intentional, and deeply meaningful.

Wild Vows is a sacred alternative to the big wedding production. Designed for couples who crave stillness, intention, and meaning, this all‑inclusive elopement and micro‑wedding experience centers your ceremony, not the spectacle.

Set in wild, protected landscapes in northern California like Yosemite National Park or the Sonoma coast, our Wild Vows packages helps couples slow down, breathe deeply, and be fully present for the moment you say yes.

All‑Inclusive Elopements & Micro‑Wedding in California

Wild Vows was intentionally designed to remove overwhelm. Instead of juggling vendors, timelines, permits, and logistics, everything essential is thoughtfully taken care of for you.

This experience includes:

  • Planning and coordination by Brie with Aspen + Pine Weddings
  • Photography by Sydnie with Sydnie Sawyer Photography
  • Custom Florals (florist is sourced from the location you choose to marry. We promise it will be someone amazing.)
  • Officiant services

Every element is curated with care so your wedding day feels calm, grounded, and sacred from beginning to end.

Elopements or Micro Weddings vs A Big Traditional Wedding

To be honest, we love doing all kinds of weddings. Celebrating love in any form is exciting for us as wedding creatives. We have noticed a shift recently in couples wanting to focus on being more intentional, less wasteful in how they celebrate, which is why we think people are turning to smaller celebrations.

For many couples, an elopement or a smaller celebration offers the freedom to step away from expectations, timelines, and traditions that don’t feel aligned.

Choosing to elope or host a micro-wedding means:

  • Fewer distractions and more presence
  • The ability to choose a location that feels sacred to you
  • Space to fully experience your vows, emotions, and surroundings

Wild Vows was created for couples who want their wedding day to feel grounded without sacrificing beauty.

Meet the Planner & Officiant

Hi, my name is Brie! I am the owner of Aspen + Pine Weddings. I believe love deserves to be celebrated. I have planned weddings for different venues but recently decided to branch off to do my own thing. My husband, Levi, is my biggest cheerleader. He is the inspiration behind my business name – the aspen is my favorite tree, and the pine is his. He is charismatic, kind, and oh so loving. He joins me on Wild Vows as an officiant. He will craft and lead a ceremony that feels meaningful and reflective of your relationship. We’re a pretty great team, if I do say so myself.

We live in Reno, NV with our two boys and love exploring the great outdoors.

Meet the Photographer

Hi, my name is Sydnie! I photograph for the humans who value nostalgic, timeless memories and daydream a little more than they should—those who seek authenticity and choose vulnerability in a world that deeply needs it. I believe who we love and how we spend our time together is our own small heaven on earth. After moving from my hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas to California in 2009, I’ve had the honor of capturing weddings across Northern California—from the mountains of Lake Tahoe to the coastlines of Mendocino and Fort Bragg—for over a decade. This region feels ethereal and romantic, and preserving its landscapes alongside deeply meaningful stories continues to be a privilege. At the heart of it all is my blue-eyed, blonde little boy, who inspires everything I create.
